It’s likely you’ve heard something or another about a handful of douchebag Marines urinating on Taliban corpses recently. Now, as a servicemember, and card-carrying underling of the Insurgent Target Practice Club on Wednesdays, Fridays, and the forseeable future, it’s difficult for me to feel sympathy for a dead terrorist. Literally, the room I have in my young and jaded heart for a member of the Taliban is slim to nil. But not only is it stooping to their level when we desecrate the bodies of fallen enemy soldiers (and I use the term “soldiers” loosely, since “heap of degenerate, subhuman waste” is too tough to type on a phone), it sets a horrible example of our military to our worldwide audience. Action Figure Therapy’s Angry Ranger expresses this perfectly.
